About me

I am a tenured associate professor at ULPGC (University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) with expertise in the field of Human Activity Recognition (HAR) models applied in the sportive domain, as well as biometrics and affective computing. I completed my PhD at ULPGC under the supervision of Modesto-Castrillón-Santana. My research focuses on advancing technology that enhances sports performance through innovative HAR models. In addition, I am dedicated to developing secure and accurate biometric systems and exploring affective computing techniques to analyze and respond to emotional states, fostering more adaptive and human-centered technological solutions across diverse applications.
